The Odyssey Program is a special type of Portland Public School, known as a Focus Option Program. As such, it is open to all PPS as well as out of district students and families.
If you are interested in applying to attend Odyssey, please:
1. Attend an Informational Night.
This is a mandatory step in the process of applying to Odyssey. At Info Night you will be asked to fill out a Statement of Understanding, which indicates that you have attended an Info Night and understand what the Odyssey Program is.
Information Nights:
February 15th, February 22nd, and March 8th
6:00-7:30 pm
Odyssey at East Sylvan, 1849 SW 58th Ave, Portland, OR, 97221
2. Submit a PPS application form, listing Odyssey as your first choice school.
You may complete and submit your application online at the PPS Website or in person by mail to the PPS Enrollment and Transfer Office. Please visit the PPS website for further important details about the transfer and enrollment process.
The 2017-2018 application period is February 8th (8:00am) - March 3rd (5:00pm).
You must attend an information night.
3. Read and sign the Odyssey Statement of Understanding (as described above in #1) and return it to the Hayhurst School office.
4. If you have any other questions regarding the Odyssey application process, transfer or enrollment, please either contact the Odyssey School office or the PPS Enrollment and Transfer office.
