Odyssey Strategic Planning Committee (OSPC)
The OSPC is the central parent-teacher governance body focused on providing oversight and coordinating support for the Odyssey program and its objectives. It is comprised of the chairs of a variety of sub-committees and has cross-over membership with the Hayhurst PTA. It also includes the parents that are lead points of contact for each cluster (cluster managers) and the parents that have taken on performance and field study lead roles. Positions are filled through joint elections with the PTA that occur in April, with new members formally taking over their roles as of June 1.
We are ALWAYS looking for parents who are interested in getting involved in the development and maintenance of Odyssey as a program and a community. Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator ([email protected]), who will work with you to match your interests to the Odyssey Program needs.
Meetings
The OSPC holds meetings once a month (see Hayhurst calendar & news) in the Hayhurst Library. At our monthly meeting, we review plans and make decisions related to the program, spending, and our strategic future as a focus program. All parents have an open invitation to attend. We would love to have you join us for the conversation and to learn more.
OSPC Chair and Vice-chair
The chair and vice-chair are responsible for organizing the OSPC and running our meetings. Contact them with any general questions or issues about the Odyssey program and parent involvement.

Please consider volunteering (as little or much as you can) - parent volunteers are a big part of what makes Odyssey such an exceptional program (and remember it's part of the Ten Essentials - #4). Start by either filling in the volunteer survey or contacting our volunteer coordinators:
